Westinghouse inverter generator dual fuel 5000

I bought this 3 weeks ago and just trying everything out, the gas, the propane seems to be working great and it’s just as quiet as my Honda

Looks great out of the box, took my time to read the Manual so I feel good about starting it up for the first time.
The screw in funnel is a nice feature for adding oil without a mess. I had 2 Yamaha generators that I sold to pick this up mainly because the of the dual fuel capability for camping and I love the electric start!
Also really like the telescope handle to move it around with ease.

Nice and quiet generator

This is a nice generator for its size. I bought it because Westinghouse built the gear reduction for the Battleship USS New Jersey. That ship still floats so it must be a good brand.

I am very happy with my purchase. My family now has peace of mind. If our electricity goes out, we will never be left in the dark, and we will never have to throw food away again due to the loss of power.

Let me start by saying build quality of this unit is above reproach and the attention to detail is equally commendable. You can tell there was pride taken in the manufacture of this device. The unit came with all tools needed to set it up and they weren't just cheap one use tools either, they are nice chrome plated tools. There wasn't a nick or scratch anywhere on this unit inside or out. User manual is well written and it even came with a parts manual and a wiring diagram!
Operating instructions are displayed on the top of the generator making it easy for anyone to operate. Another nice add is the carburetor has a drain hose built right to drain the carb after use which I have never seen on any units that I purchased in the past. All the controls, display and connections are laid out ergonomically and labeled plainly.
The only thing I can think to add to this unit to make it even more awesome would be a ¾ inch wrench to snug to propane hose fitting and a bag to attach to the generator to store the tools and propane adapter.
If you have any doubts just by it!!!
