Excellent to have dual fuel. Nice and quite. Love the remote start.
Started right up and worked perfectly. Could not be happier with the generator.

I've only had my unit a few days and generally I'm happy with it. It's quiet, starts easily and does the things it's supposed to do. It's a good looking unit and reasonably well built (see below). However, if you buy one there are a few things you should know.
First, if you read online reviews you'll discover a lot of complaints about the automatic choke not working. Westinghouse blames this on delivery drives just kicking the units off the tailgate when they deliver, which is true. That abuse can and usually does cause the automatic choke cable to become disconnected from the control board. It can also cause the starter cable to become disconnected from the control board. Westinghouse could have easily accounted for this problem by spending 5 cents more on longer cables to allow more movement but they chose not to. They've published an inaccurate service bulletin describing how to fix it. Be aware that while Westinghouse may not be aware of all the fasteners they use to attach the housing, but you need to be. The attached marked up service bulletin shows where to look for the additional fasteners that Westinghouse doesn't tell you about. If you don't find them you'll either not be able to complete the repair or will break something in trying. Just look under all the rubber grommets surrounding the engine access panel and you should be able to find them all. Proceed carefully until you don't feel resistance pulling the panel off.
Second, and a minor complaint is the engine oil they supply. The initial oil fill instructions clearly state that you should pour the entire contents of the supplied bottle of oil into the engine using the very handy funnel they provide. Unfortunately, the bottle contains far more than the crankcase will hold. Since you don't learn this until you see the oil backing up into the funnel neck, you have a mess on your hands. You must let the oil seep back out of the oil fill port until it gets down to the proper level. So beware if you hate spilling oil in your garage as much as I do. This is another easily avoidable problem, but we always follow the instructions, don't we?
Other than those two annoyances I'm pleased with the unit so far and would recommend it to friends.

Great Right Out of the Box

Running strictly on propane. It does hunt a bit at idle with zero load, but I didn't buy this to run at zero load. Runs fine under various loads and is quiet for such a big generator.

Will Be Great

After initial problem of the automatic choke unplugged it did all it could. My son unscrewed all sides, connected the wiring, watched as the choke worked and it ran fine. We did the long term fix as Westinghouse suggested and then some, completely removing the side not wishing to break it.

I purchased this Igen4500df to power our travel trailer when camping in remote location.
This generator will run my total trailer from Eco mode using propane as fuel supply. The AC is 13500 btu. It is very quiet. I am very pleased with it's performance. The digital display is excellent and accurate.

Great Features

I picked this up today and immediately set it up to verify it works properly. Started right up. Ran on propane and gasoline without any problems. Only complaint is the AC wall adapter battery charger is not the correct one. It has angled plugs and the same quick disconnect as the cable inside the battery compartment.
