I have multiple Westinghouse generators so when I needed another my go to was a Westinghouse. This new IGen4500 is sleek, easy to move with the rollers and extendable handle, and easy to use with the front panel interface. I am excited to get this bad boy up and running

Generator presents well made (in Vietnam) at a fair price. Looking forward to testing it out to see how it runs and holds up. Seems to have all the features I wanted.

Very quiet, quieter than a car driving by. Manual was easy to follow and so is the trouble shooting section. Thinking of buying a second one to pair with it, which is another super awesome feature :)!

Great Generator for the Cost!

I purschased this generator before a planned power outage in my town. I was able to put the oil in and have it running in 10 minutes after opening the box. We were able to have heat in January in western NY and kept our refrigerator and freezer running. Also, we will use this generator for our camper since it is big enoigh to supply 30 amps to run the AC in the middle of summer. It will be awesone to be able to tap into the propane on the camper to run the generator at camp grounds that do not supply electricity.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Interesting that they offer you a generator cover if you leave a review when you register the product. When you haven’t had time to even try it, they want a review. Seems a little bizarre to me.
So first impressions…
I like that the oil bottle holds just the right amount to fill it up. It was a bit messy, but there is a nice threaded funnel that really helps. I got oil all over my hands, but not all over the generator.
I started it on propane, but haven’t put any gas in it. It took a few pulls for first start.
The starter doesn’t work, so I will find out fast how customer service is to deal with.
It is quiet. I hooked a space heater up an it works.
It seems like the marketing videos show them hooking propane up to a quick connect, but you need a wrench. The wrench included doesn’t fit the either of the propane regulator or hose fittings, so I am not sure what that wrench is for yet.
I think it is weird that they don’t ship the high altitude kit with it. They want you to buy that separately on the website. I was able to find a propane kit but not a carb kit. They don’t even sell one. It is crazy that they even sell generators in high altitude areas that are not ready to run in that area. Time to call customer service and see if I can get some help with the starter.
