We bought this for our 30AMP RV Travel Tralier… Boondocking will be amazing… we have 4 5Gallon Jerry Gas Cans… possible to go off grid for a short period of time as well…

Quiet Portable Generator

The generator is not nearly as loud as other portables. I’m able to run this without impacting neighbors. It is easy to move around and store where it is not overly large.

Runs well, some trouble starting

The generator runs well and fairly quiet. I live in a fairly dense suburb and it's probably too loud to run overnight on a regular day, but it is more than tolerable in an emergency situation. I did have trouble getting it started on gas when I only put in 1/4 tank. No problems starting it on propane, but switching from propane to gas would kill it and it would not start on gas. I added more fuel as a last resort and that seemed to solve the problem. Not sure why that fixed it but it runs great now.

I bought this for the RV and it's great so far. I run it on propane and put it in my truck with canopy and I can hardly hear it

I had tried to use the propane first and was unsuccessful. I then used gas to get it warmed up and running then switched over to propane and it worked. I think the directions should say that the oil supplied is premeasure. My first thought when I couldn't get it started that I may have to much oil. Also Westinghouse may want to give an instruction video on how to get it running out of the box. The ones on Youtube can be confusing and may make you mess up a brand new generator. Also you need to keep an eye out for the gasket that goes in the flat end of the propane hose. My biggest concern is that I contacted Customer Support and was on hold for 40 minutes just to get some basic info and was told someone will contact me back in 2 business days.That almost had me return it!

I really like the auto start especially in the very cold weather! Had a couple of power outages and it has saved us a lot of money.

Purchased new in the box. Won’t idle choke problem. Choke keeps opening and closing repeatedly. Called service and after over 1 hour on hold I got a customer service rep. This rep is not a Tec support person. She had no way to transfer me to service. She took my number and here I wait for a call back this is day 2. Store I bought from refuses to take a return
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
