Bought this for Hurricane Helene. Worked right out of the box. Highly recommend. Long run time and electric start is a huge plus.

Everything Needed in a Gen/Inverter

Came in secured, excellent packaging. Quick start instructions were easy to read with pixs !!! Up and running in less than 15 minutes. (After connecting plug to battery and adding the provided 10w/30W oil...Tested on our RV with the Air Conditioner, worked great...Would definitely buy again..

I purchased this generator right before hurricane Helene came through NC and I am so glad I did. Ran flawlessly everyday for almost 3 weeks before the power was restored and gave me some normalcy in a terrible situation. The ability to run off regular gas and propane was a huge plus when gas was hard to get because of the power outages and floods. Great product!

iGen5000DFc vs iGen4500DFC Whats the differance

I just bought the iGen5000DFc - Whats the difference between this and the iGen4500DFc .. I see nothing online and it shows 5000 in pictures, but all specs show model numbers of iGen4500DFc .. Specs shows the same ??? All other reviews show pictures of the iGen4500DFc not the iGen5000DFc

All the power I need for an emergency

All the power I need when the lights go out. We have constant power failures during the winter months when the heavy wet snow hits, this keeps us going until they get the power back on.
This keeps the refrigerator, freezer, internet, all our TVs, coffee pot, and most importantly for me, my CPAP machine all going lots of power to spare
I was surprised at how quiet it was even when standing right next to it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I shopped around specifically for a Dual Fuel Inverter generator with a remote electric start to use at my primitive campsite with a 5th wheel trailer. After considering several brands, I chose the Westinghouse iGen5000DF.
I received the product in under a week, which I felt was very good considering it was very close to Thanksgiving and the ensuing Christmas shipping time period. I added the enclosed oil and followed the directions to break it in at my house, then loaded it into the back of my SUV and took it to my land and camper for Thanksgiving weekend.
The generator is very quiet and performed flawlessly for the 3 day weekend. We have used it for several weekends since and love the remote stop/start that we can use from inside the camper. I did the first oil change at camp per the owners manual and was very pleased with oil color and consistency coming out. Overall, very pleased with the generator and my decision to purchase.
