A required repair campaign after initial purchase was to ship the unit to Westinghouse facility. Shipped all original hardware and materials with hesitation something might be missed on return shipment. Campaign was handled perfectly with unit supplied as original purchase. Most of all, the unit performed perfectly. Thank you.

Started right up

Decided to get a generator after losing our freezer and refrigerator food during a 5 day power outage. Compared a lot of them and found the Westinghouse iGen 4500DF to be the best bang for my buck. It was out of stock for a few weeks so I guess a lot of other people think so too. As soon as I was notified it was in stock I placed the order and I had it within 4 days. Hooked up the battery, poured in the oil and gas and connected a propane tank then turned the battery on and hit start on the remote and viola! It purrs! Plugged in both fridge and chest freezer and both compressors kicked on no problem. Switched from gas to propane on the fly and it didn't miss a beat. The multi digital display is handy however I was puzzled by the power read outs, as they seemed a little off though it didn't affect the performance of the unit. Also, grounding of the unit is mentioned in the manual but it's ambiguous. Of the few videos I watched by independent users, it's not even an issue. Overall, very pleased with it. Bring on the next storm!

Dual fuel and wireless!

I wanted the flexibility of dual fuel for my RV and home back up. It has all the features I need while still having the necessary power. Great machine.

Great generator

Started right up with both remote and push button. Easy to use. Ran server also times over several hours. Surprisingly quiet.

Bought this after huge Texas outage. Have not yet fired it up. Would like to find a run time tent, but have not found one in the after market for a large inverter generator such as this. Would like to be able to run in rain or snow.

Great overall Inverter Generator

I looked over many different products and got a top list. This one remained on the top of the list for a while. I took my time looked at the DB and the electric start and all the reviews. This product came to the top of the list and with the wattage it can put out and all the amazing feature like the Dual fuel. you really can't go wrong buying this one.

Best inverter generator for the money

Have only had this for a few days but no regrets. Best value, quite, light, powerful, efficient, starts easy, compact, packaged well so no damage when I received mine. Mine will be used mainly for submersible water well operation during power outages. The only thing I would like to see different is a gas cap with a locking vent so it doesn’t leak when tilted while in tow. Thanks Westinghouse for a great product and thanks PED for good service.
