Unboxed, added oil and gas, and started right up. I love all that this generator has to offer, Larger fuel capacity, very quiet operation, portability, fuel flexibility with propane, fuel gauge and many other read outs. Also remote start. I have not seen any other generator in this class with more capability. Very satisfied with my purchase.

Amazing and a must have

Bought this for the recent snow storm and it is a life saver. My family wasn't in the dark, stayed warm, ate well, and even stayed entertained.

Great dual fuel portable generator!

I just unpacked my Westinghouse iGEN4500DF generator purchased because another brand failed to start during an ice storm. I returned it ASAP to the company and purchased the 4500DF. I'm only running it on propane. Very easy to set up. No wheels to attach etc. Just filled the oil, which comes in the box and connected the battery clip. It started on the first try and warmed up nicely and quietly. I trust this generator to be ready to run when I need it.

Nice Features, good performance

Bought this about a month ago to replace/upgrade a previous generator that I'd owned for ~5 years.
Things I like most:
- Dual Fuel (LP/Gasoline) capability.
- Switches easily from LP to gasoline (& vice versa) without having to shut down the generator.
- Telescoping Handle
- Long run time w/o refueling. Especially handy is being able to switch from LP to gasoline to facilitate swapping out LP tanks w/o having to shut down the generator.
- Digital display of power output, runtime hours and fuel level.
- Automatic choke
- Inverter reset button
- Dual Fuel (LP/Gasoline) capability.
- Switches easily from LP to gasoline (& vice versa) without having to shut down the generator.
- Telescoping Handle

Improvements:
- Replacing the 3/8" flare fitting for LP with a quick-connect fitting
- Adding a fuel shutoff switch (gasoline)
- Using a hinged cover for the 30A and 20A connections...the soft rubber ones feel flimsy.
- Relocate/re-engineer the transport handle to facilitate easier extension/pickup...having the handle so low tends to scrape knuckles ;-)
