I purchased this unit to power up our RV when dry camping. Just absolutely luv it. It is exactly what I needed. I'm so happy I did my reserach on Portable Generators. This is the winner.

Excellent Generator for our Travel Trailer

The dual fuel is a lifesaver when it comes to dry camping. My trailer has two propane tanks and they have kept the generator running and lights on! We will be traveling a lot more now that we have the iGen 4500DF!!!

A decent dual fuel inverter generator

I just received the item and tested it on propane.
It runs excellently and it is very quiet.
Only the complaint is it looks like it is used.
Some minor scratches but not really visible.

Quiet And Powerful

I have only had this generator for a week and am so glad I purchased this quiet beast. Easy to start (just push a button!), Easy to move around (and it comes with the wheels telescoping handle already on) and is not too heavy. Just plug in the battery, add oil and gas or propane, and you are good to go. For the most part, I will be using the RV outlet (TT-30R); it also has two 15/20 amp outlets and two usb outlets. It is great on gas and being an inverter only uses what is needed for what you are powering. No problem running a heater or air conditioner, or just a few lights in my trailer. This generator is so quiet you know it is on because your lights or heater is on and not because you hear it running. I really like the date display that lets me knows my voltage, hours of use, running time left. This West. iGen 4500DF is well worth its cost.

This is my first inverter/generator. It powers everything in my travel trailer. It is quieter than my small champion generator which should allow us to use when it’s quiet time in parks. The remote works like a charm. We just absolutely love the power and reliability, not to mention duel fuel. I would definitely recommend it!

Still breaking it in but it starts up fast and does not have an annoying sound! Surging a little bit . Not sure why. Maybe just need to run it more?
