Just what i was looking for!

I bought this to help power my adventures camping with my 5th wheel. While I can't power everything, the power this little guy puts out is sufficient to charge my batteries and run 1 A/C unit, Microwave, Coffee Maker.. etc. It is amazingly quiet and started right up first try, after following the quick start directions. Love the fact it runs on LP, now I don't have to worry about stale gas, or draining before longs trips. So far I'm super happy with the iGen4500DF!

OVERFILLED OIL

While I haven't even had a chance to start my new generator, I did experience its operation at Elk camp this year. A friend owns one and it ran super quiet and flawlessly all week on a 20 gal. propane tank.
However, my new one arrived today and I read the operator's manual front and back. I followed the directions on filling it with oil. Unfortunately, there was too much oil in the container that was provided, and as I removed the funnel, oil started pouring into the engine compartment and onto the garage floor. I would say that nearly a full cup of oil came out. What a mess to clean up. Now if some of you are thinking that my garage floor is not level, that's not the case. I also got some nasty cuts on both hands due to the sharp edges inside the various compartments - so I advise wearing thin gloves when possible.

Generator met my needs

Purchased this generator for home and RV use. Starting was simple and problem free. Once running, I hooked it up to my fifth wheel and made myself popcorn, enjoyed the air conditioning and watched a movie. The generator didn’t seem noisy at all, meeting all my needs and still having power for more.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is our 1st generator and I couldn't be happier with my purchase so far. Super easy to setup (I'm using Propane) and starting the unit couldn't be any easier than pushing a button! Much quieter than I expected which is another plus. Plan on building it a small generator shed and hooking it up to a 6 circuit transfer panel in the garage in case the next ice storm causes us issues. Now I may never loose power again not that I finally have a generator but that's perfectly ok with me.

Did my reviews for about two weeks using YouTube and other review sites and this model consistently stood out. I decided for the dual fuel model to have more options available during extended power outage’s.

Great generator not quite fully assembled.

We purchased our iGen4500DF several months ago for backup power on our motorhome. We finally have had a chance to use it, and first use was not sp special. It started but ran rough. I stopped and reviewed the issue on the internet, and found many are shipped without the wire connection to the auto-choke control attached. This makes the unit run rough. I had to remove 3 out of 4 side panels, and sure enough, my choke wire coupler was dangling there, not connected. I connected it, reassembled the covers, and tried again. This time it cleared up and ran very smooth. I am assuming this is all I will have to do, but my thinking is I should NOT have to disassemble a new product to get it running! Come on Westinghouse! Many people complain of this. Get it right when you build it!
