Dual Fuel

The dual fuel and 52dB were the selling points for me. Great for weekend camping trips when using propane. No messing with gasoline and gummed up carb. For extended use, gasoline is the way to go.

ran the item on propane and its flawless. Super quite machine and just a beast when it comes to power output. Love the digital readout and the electric start. Handles on the top make it easy for loading into the back of a pickup. Westinghouse really did a good job designing this unit

Nice unit for an RV but one Issue

I've been waiting for this generator to become available again and I grabbed it soon as I saw one in stock on line. It's a perfect unit for my RV needs with the 30a output plug, remote control, propane fuel option and the ability to power an AC. I've hooked it up to my fifth wheel and the generator works great but I do have to shut off my internal surge protection. The Progressive doesn't seem to like the output but with stable inverter power it should be fine. It's a very quiet unit to so it should be campground friendly. One minor issue my digital display isn't working so I'll have to get a warranty repair for that, not what you'd like from a new unit so I'll have to give it 4 stars.

Two Problems

Love the generator, but my 2.5 hp air compressor keeps tripping it's own breaker when I try to run it off the generator. Haven't figured out why yet. Works fine from the wall outlet.
I apparently pushed too hard on the oil fill cover. The plastic snap broke already. It was about the third time I opened it. I was standing above it and pushed straight down. Apparently it didn't like that.
The gen runs smooth and is very quite. Going to try it out on my travel trailer next.

I've owned a honda for a few years and decided to buy a Westinghouse. Boy the westinghouse is great. The added funnel is a real convenient as well as the oil was supplied. It is a must have for all rv users. I will check in again to review after a year of use.

The iGen4500DF vs Champion 3400W has more running watts, is quieter by 7 db, include an led display, and has a bigger fuel tank.
