Quiet and very reliable

First time buying an inverter generator and am very impressed with how quiet it is and the reliability of the voltage from the inverter is impressive. Was worth every penny it cost.

Great little generator

I use a generator only a few times a year. So many times I have seen people having trouble starting their generator after sitting for long time due to usually carburetor issue. I am glad that this one uses propane. Now I don't have to worry about generator not starting from carburetor issue. It also is battery operated and makes it easier to start, and it also has remote controller. It is quiet and comes with two USB chargers. It is very user friendly. Well made machine! I am going to take it to my camping trip, and will be using it during hurricane season. Now I can bring all my electric tools on my trip. Oh, by the way I had hard time locating serial number, It was not on the generator. I found it on a sticker stuck on the front page of user's manual. It doesn't say it is serial number, but I just guessed then what other number would it be? I used this number to register and website took it.

So easy to use!

I bought this to upgrade our wattage from our Honda i2000 eu for our home use during the Planned Safety Power Shutoffs courtesy of PGE in NorCal. I love being able to use propane or gas. just switch it. easy peasey. My spouse loves the electric start. we had an electrician install a manual transfer switch in our power panel so now we can pretty much run everything in the house. mini split, or swamp cooler. 2 fridges and freezer along with all lights and stove. even the microwave once in a while. we bought a small rubbermaid plastic garden shed to house it. works great.

Most Versatile Portable Generator Available Today

The Westinghouse iGen4500 is an excellent inverter generator with about twice the power of most inverter models. It is exceptionally quiet, very portable and very user-friendly making this a smart choice for when you need more power but don’t want to give up on silence and portability. Monitoring of the iGen4500DF's status and activity is made possible by a digital data center, which provides information on the remaining run time, power output, fuel level, lifetime run hours and voltage and is one of the main features that will help with monitoring operation and maintenance scheduling. The dual fuel feature allows for real life options in an emergency or planned usage for portable power. My usage will be as a homeowner in need of emergency backup power for my essential loads. Setup and initial operation was simple and straight forward, due to the excellent documentation that was obviously written by competent Westinghouse engineers. I highly recommend this product.

Like the power and features

Bought this generator for the features. Mainly the quietness and enough power to run the A/C in the travel trailer. I'm exited for summer now. I did alot of researching to find the right generator. The iGen beat every other generator in features as well as customer ratings. Thank you Westinghouse.
