Quiet and Full Featured Power

I bought the Westinghouse iGen4500DF for camping and portable power when needed. The box bottom had broken open on delivery but the generator was undamaged. The instructions are easy to understand and the controls are easy to use.
The fit and finish is high quality, although I did have two minor issues. The tabs that hold the rubber splash guard around the fuel filler cap were not clicked into place (easy fix as I just pushed them in). Also, the propane hose connector is slightly off center, making it a little difficult to connect the propane hose because the hose fitting binds against the grommet. This is very minor and in no way detracts from the value or usefulness of the generator.
After connecting the battery, filling with oil and connecting the propane; the generator started right up! Idle was rough for a little while but then smoothed out. We've only ran the generator for a couple hours but it looks like a winner! It is quiet and everything works great. I especially like the remote start. The generator had no trouble running a small air compressor, router and miter saw at the same time. I've not ran it on gasoline yet but I don't see why it wouldn't run just as well as it does on propane.
I am very satisfied with the iGen4500DF and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, full featured generator in its size range.

Duel Fuel Flexibility

Specifically looked for a generator with duel fuel capability. Since this unit is primarily used for "dry" camping with our trailer we already have a propane fuel source so I don't have to pack additional gasoline fuel containers. Propane also makes it easier to store the generator long term as I don't have to drain the gas or run it dry to keep from damaging the fuel system. Picked Westinghouse because of the features and positive reviews.

Love the extra power and low noise it generates. Also, having a dual fuel system gives more options to run this inverter.
