It came with the battery loose. There is no place to connect the battery strap.
More significantly, the side cover will not come off. At least one of the screws cannot be loosened. It's as if it is glued in place. As such i can't put oil in it.
I have filed a complaint and am now case #SC289633-other. Someone is supposed to contact me next week.

Fired up first try. It’s quieter than I thought it would be. The extendable handle at the bottom makes it easy to move around. So far so good.

I am a volunteer for the forest service and a co-worker had a generator like this one. It does everything I need when my solar can’t stay up with the demand we need. Setup was simple and it’s very quiet. Love the dual fuel option. Let’s us run on LPG vapor or gasoline. It even runs the A/C unit. I can’t find any negatives on this generator. My co-worker has enjoyed his for over a year without any issues. Thanks Westinghouse
