Great features and runs quiet

I bought this to use with our RV and I as so happy I did. The remote start is a life saver and the ability to run all night on a tank of gas is fantastic. This unit operates at a fraction of the noise level as the champion unit it replaced!

Quiet and 4500Watts, the duel fuel makes it good to have around during hurricane season in Florida when not camping. The push button screen data is better than the previous scrolling screen data.

Perfect size, Well engineered, Easy maintenance

I bought the iGen4500DF last year, when PG&E started the power shut off stuff! It's the right size to run most of the essentials in my house. (no large appliances) Meaning, the frig, the freezer, Phone, TV, internet, the microwave, coffee pot, electric tea pot, and the wife's hair dryer. I found it to be just small enough to lift into the door of the trailer but you should probably use a ramp, its not that light. My bathroom scale says 114lbs. Its powerful enough to run the roof A/C with propane. With the RV extension core I bought separately, I can wake up in the morning, press the remote from inside the trailer, 50 ft away and have a Real cup of coffee!
The generator has a service cover for the air filter and the oil. On the oil side, there is an actual drain plug over a rubber plugged hole in the bottom of the cover, to be able to change the oil without making a mess! Nicely thought out. The wheels and the stowaway handle make it easier to move and use without having something to trip over. I like that it shows the hours of run time, so I know to change the oil or clean the air filter. It has two USB charging ports that work well and 12v port that I haven't needed yet to charge a device or use with the supplied plug in 110v charger, to keep the generator's starting battery charged. I have only owned it for a year and used it on two camping trips and four power shut offs, but it's fairly quiet and starts every time.

GENERATORS SO NICE, I ORDERED TWICE!

These generators run in parallel so two of them power my concession trailer and are quiet as you could ever imagine generators being. Perfect out of the box, definitely recommended!

Quick setup and starting

I order this in June and finally received it this AM Have had it less than 2 ours have unboxed and gone through set-up and is running on Gas. I will over the next few days test using propane. A few items on propane which I would have liked was a longer hose and a quick connect on the gen. side. Starts easy and sound lever is great even in a closed grarge during the testing I'm doing.
