I saw this after a friend bought one a few months ago and I have been waiting for it to come in. Finally came in stock and it arrived shortly after. It is great for powering the smokers when not close to power.

Cranked on the first try with the remote. Runs very quietly. Love it so far. Will be using on a 31 foot travel trailer

Well engineered emergency generator

I bought this unit to be prepared for planned power outages by the electric company. The igen 4500 DF is powerful enough to handle essential electric needs but is easily handled by one person and is also quiet enough for a residential area. It has a number of features for a unit of its size; remote electric start, included trickle charger, and quick disconnect battery. Customer service has also been very responsive to answer questions

Does the trick

I bought this a month ago, and haven't needed it yet. However, I did fire it up and test all the functions. It took a hot minute to get it started the first time. Getting gas through the carb I assume to a bit of extra cranking. After that, this started up right away, and the remote start worked nicely as well. Plugged a few things in to make sure the inverter worked, and I was satisfied. This generator wasn't as quiet as I had hoped. It seems others I have heard were quieter. Can't prove it without a db meter however.
