Gas leaked all over

Removed from packaging, filled with gas and oil.( Doesn't take full Qt. Of oil). Gas started leaking all over my garage floor. Got it outside, pulled the side cover and tapped on the carburetor. Needle was stuck, maybe from shipping? Let it set for the day, and dry out. Started right up, runs great, and runs my whole r.v. Runs quiet and smooth, have not tried propane yet.

I needed a generator to use with our RV trailer. I live on the Gulf Coast with frequent Hurricanes. Due to the hurricanes gasoline is sometimes hard to find so I knew I wanted something dual fueled. The Westinghouse 4500DF is dual fueled. I wanted a generator to power my Travel Trailer with the correct 30amp jack to power my camper. The 4500 has the proper jack for campers. Remote start for when I don't want to start or stop the generator early in the morning or in the middle of the night. I wanted a large fuel tank that would allow me to run over night. I wanted something to tell me how much fuel was in the tank, what voltage I was running, how long I had until the fuel was out, and when I needed to change the oil and other maintenance. The 4500DF has all of those features. I needed something that was electric start. What if my battery is down? Can I pull start it? Yes to both. I needed something quiet. I needed something reliable. With the Westinghouse IGen4500DF I picked the generator that was right for me. I looked at other generators and they had some similar features, but not all of the ones the Westinghouse had. I considered many other brands but for the price the Westinghouse offered what I needed. And in addition 4500 starting amps I got more than I was looking for. I have used this generator for almost a year. It starts first time still. At 98lbs, I can load it on our truck. I have run my 4500 for over 15 hours on one tank of fuel, (I fueled it before it ran out of fuel). It came complete with everything you needed to use propane including the propane regulator. After using my generator for almost a year I am glad I picked the Westinghouse IGen 4500DF.

Remote start and dual fuel are great features on this generator.
Very quick setup with simple instructions.
Started effortlessly!
Tried remote start from second floor of my home with generator located outside of my garage on first floor and it controlled it ON/OFF perfectly.

So Far So Good

Went through the setup steps which were easy. Battery is easy to connect. Does not require all of the oil that came with the unit. Tried to start it up on gasoline. Would not crank and run until I switched the ECO switch to the ON position. About four hours later, it would crank without the ECO switch being in ON position. Also cranked up using propane. It would not start up on propane using the recoil start but it would start up on gasoline using the recoil start. Nice to have the basic tools need to add oil, attach propane hose and remove spark plug. I have not put a load on it to see how it operates. Only four stars since I could not get the recoil start using propane and have not put a load on it. A storage compartment for the tools would be nice.
