Easy startup and quiet operation

Easy setup. Hooked up propane and started right up. Very quiet operation compared to standard generators. Pull-out handle and wheels make it very to maneuver. Just waiting for a power outage now to put it to work. Very pleased with the purchase.

- though, out of box, Access doors weak, (1) won’t close, sharpe edge another,
After prep. GAS leak thru system, need local Approved Service for Unit.
Gas leak not obvious.

Easy start up and break in!

Started on the first press of a button - easy break in period -- changed the oil and swapped to synthetic. Quiet and powers everything I need.

This seems to be an excellent portable generator so far. I love the retractable handle for moving it around, and the flexibility of duel fuel. The only minor flaws that I noticed was that the oil fill/dipstick is in a tight spot and somewhat difficult to access, as is the battery quick connect. Other than that, I can see this unit saving me plenty of headaches during the next inevitable power outage.

New Backup Generator Unpacked and Ready!

My initial experience with the iGen5000DFc has been very positive. Unpacking was easy, adding oil was straightforward, the battery came charged, and the unit started right away. I am new to generators, but the instructions and manual were clear, and my pilot load test went smoothly. It gives me confidence that I am better prepared for an emergency.
