Out of the box started up acceptable noise level decent fuel consumption. Used it about 20hrs on fuel not propane yet. Remote start great well built.
No oil filter and if you need oil change tilt the unit sideways and pour out the oil on the hole goes in ! and through the same funnel.... hehe

good right out of the box.

generator arrived day of a power outage. with light fading I was able to add oil connect propane tank and get it running the fridge and kerosene heater modem,router,laptop with extension cords as I was not able to find the correct generator to house cable locally and need to wait for delivery. been running overnight 12 hours in 40-30 degree weather. luckily no rain.

Great product for CA power shut downs

Only have a few hours on the unit, but great so far. Very low noise! Love the dual fuel feature, Had to use it as I was running low on gas, but had 4 tanks of propane..
Very easy to move around with the wheels and handle set up. Next project will be to install a transfer switch with 10 circuits so I can get rid of the cords in the house.

Over all a great product for Calif. screwed up power issues today. Power off goes for days. And we still have the fires anyway. Wife is very happy as she doesn't have to worry any longer about power for her oxygen machine. This product is a life saver.

Awesome Generator

So glad I purchased a Dual-Fuel Generator that I can run exclusively on propane. Unlike fuel sources that can degrade over time (kerosene, diesel, gasoline), propane fuel has no expiration date, nor will its potency suffer while being stored. The only thing you need to worry about when storing propane is maintaining the health and integrity of the propane storage tank. I'm ready for the next PSPS, and in CA, we all know they are now in our future. I also purchased 2, 40LB tanks, with which I can go 72 hours straight powering my refrigerator, microwave, portable oven, etc. Made this last PSPS event tolerable. Just wanted to let you all know what worked for me in case you’re considering a generator.

I bought this after three blackouts in the last three weeks two lasting in excess of 24 hours.
Lots of features, dual fuel is a great option, started right up no hesitation, ready for the next B.S. Black out

Poor Performance

I purchased this generator in May 2019 and it has stopped starting either remote or otherwise. The rip cord handle fell off, I never used the handle! The fuel float is broke and when I started it with gasoline, all of the gasoline came pouring out of the bottom of the unit! Several other issues, too many to name.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Ready for Boondocking

Purchased new from Amazon. It arrived quickly and undamaged. This is a super nice generator! It is however, HEAVY!!... Stats say 96lbs empty but it feels like more. So far I am VERY impressed! This thing is setting the Quiet bar..... I have a [other mfg] "quiet inverter" generator of like output and I can hear it 30ft away while standing next to the iGen4500df, both under same load. ;-)

This generator is great. Switches between gas and propane effortlessly. Also, starts quickly using either the push button, remote, or pull recoil handle. Perfect for our needs during power outages. Runs quietly, but still sounds like a generator.
