This generator uses propane

Because we do not have a garage I need to store this outside in a shed, gasoline would be very dangerous to store So having a generator that works on propane is excellent for me.
Opened it up, put in the oil, and tested it out. Started on a couple pulls. Loving that I can use propane. Planning on getting a couple 100# tanks to swap back and forth. Runs smooth. Not too loud. Easy to operate. Just need it for the fridge and sump pump during extended power outages, which is well within this unit's limits.
Works great! Had this generator a week and the power went out. Hooked up the WiFi router and my wife was able to keep working from home. Great product and love the electric start along with the key fob.
Product is small enough to fit on a mount on the front of my conversion trailer and it is quite and runs the A/C in the trailer with no issues. Very happy with this purchase.
WGen3600DFcv review. great except for no wheel kit

I bought the WGen3600DFcv on 4/6/2024. The second day after delivery I checked; spark plug gap (no adjustment needed), air filter, oil drain plug and maintenance access in general. Open frame generators allow nice access for maintenance. After filling with oil and connecting a propane tank with the included supply line I had minor issues starting. The trick seemed to be to choke for a brief period when trying to start. I've only run the generator a couple of times and only with a heat gun for a load but it seems to work great. A bit loud but to be expected from an engine with less than 6 inches of exhaust. Once my tests were done and I knew this would work for me I tried unsuccessfully to order the wheel kit. Per multiple posts the wheel kit seems to have been out of stock for 2 years but also per posts the WGen5300 Accessory Wgen5300Dfc Wheel Kit will fit save the handle is 2 inches too wide. I've ordered that kit to see if I can get wheels on the 3600 and plan to cut the handle to the correct size. Aside from the wheel kit I'm very happy with this generator. I knocked off a star for the unavailability of the wheel kit.
