I am so happy I bought this in preparation for Hurricane season. I love that it is propane rather than battery or gas making it easy to use. It gives me peace of mind since my son's medicine needs to be kept cold.

Hard to start

I bought this a year ago and from the first time we used it, it was hard to start but we didn't think anything of it only that perhaps that because it was new it needed to be used and that's why it was hard. I also have a champion so we would generally use that generator. Well now through hurricane Beryl we needed to turn both on since we were out of electricity longer and for being the third time this generator took more than an hour to start. We tried everything from checking the oil, changing propane tanks, checking the spark plug and all and finally got it started after a little over an hour .
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
