I am writing this review after one year of ownership. I am a full-time RVer so this is one year of steady everyday use including wintertime almost 24/7 running.
it's not a bad generator for the money and it does power my 30 amp Travel trailer when I am out boondocking. My unit I have run the bageebers out of so when I say it a pretty good unit I mean initially! It doesn't live up to the claims in some cases so keep some of this in mind ...
It is cold blooded, so if you are an altitude or cold weather camper/user keep a good supply of starting fluid around. A small squirt of fluid and it will fire right up.
In any weather it has a hard time starting on propane so again keep starting fluid around. I don't use propane much because of decreased output and the fact I have been using it in colder climates. This is just a preference and not that I have experienced any issues beyond the trouble starting.
All that mentioned above means your remote start is useless unless the machine is warmed up, if it stalls (overloads) it is easily restarted with the remotefrom inside the RV/house.
It overloads at odd times. I have had it stall out while using a microwave and with nothing else running. The microwave is a 900 watt but it still shouldn't overload the generator when nothing else is running. It doesn't do it every time but often enough I felt the need to mention it.
Don't let the Westinghouse name fool you. This is a made in China machine and parts can only be ordered through the online portal. There are a few shops that work on them but call and verify because the website lists "authorized shops" but my experience is that the shops don't know they're authorized.
I had a bad carburetor on mine when I got it and it took a couple of months to get it figured out (hence the paragraph above). I finally got the part sent to me and was able to swap it out myself. I haven't had an issue since.
I only run the furnace in the Trailer with it and led lights, so probably less than half load but it gets good runtime on a tank of gas. I was running it during the winter 24 hours a day on less than 2 tanks of gas.
The low oil shut off has been a life saver. Running it so much I often forgot to keep up on checking the oil and so a couple of times it shutdown to protect the engine.
I do like the remote, it allows me to shutdown the machine from inside the trailer at night during the summer months to save power. I can (most of the time) start it up in the morning if I need to also.
On that note (above paragraph) if you don't shut the power off on the generator during times of no use the battery will drain and die to where the push button start won't work. Also when you push the start button the machine will continue to try and start until the machine actually starts. It is doesn't start the first 3 or 4 attempts the battery will usually die. It has a power on light and I think it drains the battery. The battery is also a cheap generic make so maybe a good name brand battery will resolve this. Swapping the power on light out for an LED light might also. Turn the power off if it is going to sit for more than three hours on a regular basis.
For the price it is a good buy but just remember that you get what you pay for. It is not the trouble free generator you're hoping for.

Just bought. I had an issue with the output but that was resolved by Reliance the Power Transfer Switch Company. I haven't actually started it yet but, assembly and programming went well.

I like that it's compact, has remote start, and uses gas and propane. Haven't had a chance to use it much, but so far so good.

I bought this item a week ago and will be installing the 140567 - High Altitude Carburetor Kit and the 140560 High Altitude Regulator Kit (Elevation 6300). The High Altitude Carburetor Kit was a different part number than manual suggests but service@wpowereq.com helped me get the right one. Very nice generator, will be put to use soon for our RV.

Follow the instructions... Add oil, attach propane, hit start (actually I had to pull started, I don't think the battery was charged enough to push button start). Done. Haven't had a chance to really use it yet, but I'm sure I will when PGE cuts off our power.

Out the box item is brand new no dings no scratches. Putting the wheels on was easy. Weight is manageable. Purchased as a backup for a home if my inverter goes bad. Battery already seemed to be connected, I noticed when instructions led me to battery install. Fingers crossed my next review will be how it ran on propane. Don't really plan on running gas through this thing, but a good backup.
