Great generator and amazing customer service

I purchased this last month and it arrived damaged in shipping. The air filter was cracked and needed replacement. Amazon could do little but offer a refund but the Westinghouse customer service folks were amazing. I put oil in the unit and fired it up and it has been working like a pro. I wish the written instructions were a bit better but the phone support people had ALL of the needed answers.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great generator. Was packaged nicely. Easy to assemble. Everything you need is included in the box. Put in the oil, connected to my propane. Cranked on first push of the button.

Bought this for emergency back-up for Wife's medical equipment. We get rolling blackouts during summer. I"ll be using propane, makes it easier to store.

Great Generator

Has worked flawlessly - on both gas and propane. Changed out the fuel jet for high altitude (8000+ ft) and runs much smoother.

Runs good on gas.

Starts and runs very good on gas. The automatic choke is very nice. However it does not start well on propane. Also, it will not run most battery backup UPS. Had to buy a double conversion UPS that cost twice what the generator cost. If these 2 things are not important, it's a good generator.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The manual states that it is important to start your WGen3600DF on gasoline first, and then make the switch to propane once on and running. With regards to the UPS battery backup system, the required power may simply be too large to run.
