I have used no for three months while boondocking. nearly 400 hours. no issues. quiet, love the eco mode. uses a little more fuel than i expected, but much less than the Wen it replaced. best thing is the remote start.
Received and got ready for an initial test. No power. Manual had no info about how to hook up battery in setting up. Called support-took info-said I should be contacted back about 10 days. Found battery connection by taking off covers to look where the issue was. Found & it started right up. Needs more info listed in manual.received more wires in box-still don’t know where they go if needed-no info! Website no help either. Will use machine with next storm thru if needed.
I love how compact this unit is. The dual fuel option is great to have. When a hurricane hits, knowing you don’t have to wait in line for expensive gas is a game changer.
Took the generator to operate high current appliances in 4,000 feet and high external temperatures. Used propane only so far and the generator worked well despite the altitude and harsh conditions.
Starting w the recoil was easy, although I found that after a few pulls it's better to close the choke to get it started.
Reasonably quiet and the standard propane tank lasted a few hours of operation.
This is the most powerful dual fuel generator I found in this weight class (next size up is about double at more than 100lbs) and it's a sweet spot tradeoff.
Wish the high altitude kit was available. I'm unable to find it.
Easy to operate, instruction manual was easy to use. (A little excessive on the required governmental warnings as most are common sense). I am expecting to get years of service from this. Living in Florida you gotta have something for power during the hurricanes and this does the job!
We bought this generator to give us power in the event of a hurricane, to power the refrigerator, a few lights, and a box fan. Haven't used it yet, but hoping it meets our needs. Time will tell.
