I purchased this to use for our camper. I liked that it was not too heavy and the price. It it not as quiet as I had hoped but it will work for me.

The propane line is hard to get to stop leaking.

Awesome lightweight generator

I bought this after struggling with a different brand that I could not start easily. This I Gen 4000FC was a dream to start!! It also handled our campers 13,500 btu roof air conditioner with ease.

I’ve had multiple Westinghouse generators this one by four has the most features with low weight and high power. Would definitely recommend for RV use.

Quiet, light weight

I bought this generator for the weight to power ratio. I own a Honda i3000 and it weighs 120 lbs. I’m too old to be lifting that in and out of my truck. This is half the weight, has more power and is just as quiet at a fraction of the price.

Great Right Out of the Box

Unit was well packaged and easy to set up. Poored the included oil into the generator as instructed and connected the battery cables together. Fired right up using a 20lbs propane tank. I don’t intend on running gasoline through this unit since I don’t want to worry about toting a gas can around with me and propane doesn’t go bad. Remote start is awesome feature and I don’t have to go out in the elements anymore. I noticed it is a little more loud than my Honda EU3000, but this was also a third of the price. 30 hours on the motor over the last week and it is running great. I am going to do an oil change at this point just cause I like to do one after a break in period.
