Quiet and powerful

Bought this to deal with the frequent power outages in Tsaile AZ. Easy to start and runs quiet enough to not hear with the door closed. More than enough power to run a space heater, internet, lights, work computer and monitors.
I would recommend this to a friend!

iGen4000DFc Inverter Generator Review

So far, so good. Just fired it up for the first time. Very easy setup. The included funnel actually screws in to the oil port for easy filling, which is nice, but checking the oil level is a bit of a pain. Started right up with the remote. Easy.

1st time use bad experience

I took the generator with me for the first time on a dry camping trip. I was not able to get the generator started in the morning using the electric start. I depleted the generator's battery trying to start it. I connected the generator to my pickup to recharge its battery. Following recharging, I still was not able to start the generator with the electric start. I had to go through the campground and find a man who was able to try to pull start the generator for me. After several attempts,he was not able to pull start the generator. He checked the manual, and then looked for the choke on the generator. He was not able to find a choke. Then, after several more times of trying the pull start, the generator finally started.
The next morning, again I could not start the generator with the electric start. At that time there were no men in the campground, so I just gave up and loaded the generator in my pickup.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We just purchased this generator for our camper and will be using it next weekend. Set-up was quick and easy. We tested the generator using a circular saw - no issues or drop in power.

Great for camping

I bought this for camping in my fifth wheel trailer, and the features are just what I needed. Big enough to rum the A/C and the microwave plus the convenance of the remote start is wonderful for my wife who happens to be on a cane.
