I bought this generator to solve an electrical problem I was having at a rented camping site. Power was just too low to be able to use my air conditioner. This iGEN4000DFc has solved my problems! Remote start is great and convenient- don't even have to go outside to start it up. Dual fuel is a great option when you don't want to travel with gasoline and can just use a propane tank. It's clean and no fuss. Be sure to check if you need a Ground Bond plug as these have floating ground.
Quite easy to use andsuper light . Dual Fuel and remote start is a game changer. If they can figure out Fuel swap without shut down that would be great.
Received 2 days ago. Packaging was great. Filled with oil, connected battery leads, checked battery charge with enclosed charger. Battery charge was fine. Hooked up to propane ( I don't intend to use gasoline) turned switch to propane setting, turned eco setting to off, battery switch to on and pushed electric start button. It sputtered and almost started. Pushed button again and it started and ran smoothly! Turned it off and it started first-time with the remote. Turned it off with the remote and back on several times. I let it run for about 10 minutes on both eco mode and regular setting. So far, so good!
I did a lot of research before purchasing a generator. The iGen4000 DFC had all the bells and whistles I needed. The most important part that was right out of the box. It started up on the first try… Amazing so far so good. I’m very happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone.
Why don't you join me product comes well packaged and with all accessories and necessary tools and fluids. Pull it out of the box filled with oil and gas who recommended levels. Engaged to recoil starter and it fired up on the first pull. Shut the unit off and put it on electric start press the button and it fired again on the 1st press. Run smooth and quiet candles and adequate amount of load for home backup power.
I read the owners manual, plugged in the battery, added the supplied oil, hooked up the propane tank, pushed the battery/run rocker and then pushed the remote on button. Away it ran with NO issues
I brought this item 4 months ago just now getting to operate it like that it's duel fuel so far good and comes with remote starting great for camping and tailgating
