Bought this a few days ago, just got it. All parts were accounted for. User manual uncommonly clear & concise. Oiled & based it up. Push button started worked first time. Remote worked to turn it off then back on. Loaded it with a heater, hardly noticed a change in engine noise. Pretty quiet. Have yet to try it running my campers AC but think it'll handle that as well. Also haven't tried the LP side. Nice little genset.
Backup power for 3400 sf home. Powers all 120 volt circuits, including 2 refrigerators, a freezer and a septic pump. All lighting is LED. If reefers, freezer and pump were to surge simultaneously, the overload would surely trip, but that has not happened.
I also have an iGen4500 which is a bit quieter (not much) but I appreciate the smaller footprint, light weight and lack of a battery of this iGen4000.
I am older man and was shopping for generator that was eaisr to handle. Purchased the Westinghouse iGen4000Dfc love the big top carry handle and weight 68 lbs. Broke in for 5 hours at less than 50% load ran perfectly. Connected my 30amp rv ran every appliance in including air conditioner. Very impressive quality of generator even the user's manual is high quality glossy paper and very well written. This is testament to Westinghouse quality and pride they place in their products. Don
