A great generator - a serious piece of hardware

I just purchased this for home backup and shop use and have only run it a little. My plan is to connect it to the house natural gas and use that as much as possible. This thing will easily run everything in the house, even though it has to be derated due to the altitude. It seems very well built and uses quality components. I like the paint finish too, nicely done. It is very convenient that they included the oil and the battery with the unit, which makes it possible to complete the setup and get it running as soon as it arrives.

Ready for the Florida Storms

I just received this generator. Set up was easy if you follow the manual. When adding oil make sure you do so incrementally. My unit had a little residual oil from the factory, so you likely won't need the whole quart. Pairing the remote was a breeze and start up was easy. After the break in period I will update this review. So far I am very pleased with my purchase.

Hurricane prep

I bought this generator for peace of mind. I've lived in Florida for a little over 50 years & never had a direct hit from a hurricane until last year. Then my luck ran out. Two major storms, nearly back to back. We were without power for almost a week. I'm pretty sure that we've got the perfect set-up with the purchase of this powerful generator.
