74dB? Not! This is crazy loud!

That 74dB in the specs is at idle, producing no power. Running, it checks out at 79-80dB at 27ft even at no load. Same as my 20yo Generac but feels louder. But it runs great on propane and produces clean power, a steady 120VAC at 60Hz. Except at idle, where the voltage runs as high as 149V on each leg and Hz up to 75. I'll just make sure to NEVER connect it to any load with it set to idle. Since it is about the only genset of this size that offer clean power AND runs on LPG, I'll live with the flaws.

This machine looks well built and well designed. It was crated beautifully and arrived in perfect condition. Everything needed to get the machine up and running was included with the generator.

Great Investment

Bought this generator and could not be happier. The dual fuel option is great for when you might not be able to get one or the other. Hooked it into a 100LB portable propane tank. It runs my whole house with (2) 3.5 ton central AC Units. Very impressed with the unit and its power. Only issue is its been difficult to get parts like oil filters or air filters. I like to keep these on hand should it be needed for long times.

Monster that I hope is not needed

Did a lot of research, W/house gens had a lot of positive reviews and features. It is a heavy beast but was packaged very well and unpacked easily. Followed the quick start sheet and danged if it didn't start right up on propane. Used 2 space heaters and they didn't even phase it. Shut down, programmed the very convenient remote and then ran it on gas. Started right up on the second attempt (all automatic by the way). Tried the idle control and after a short delay it kicked in. Hoping if I do need it the reliability will be there. It ain't cheap but hopefully worth it.

We did our research before buying. Now that we've had it for a few weeks, we know we made the right decision. I'm totally impressed with how solid this machine is. It's well designed and performed beautifully on our test run. Great value, too.

PURCHASED THE GENERATOR AFTER THE TEXAS FREEZE IN FEBRUARY 2021. GREAT FEATURES ALL AROUND ON THIS MODEL. BONUS WAS THE BATTERY, OIL, FUNNEL, LPG REGULATOR+HOSE, AND TOOLS INCLUDED WITH THIS MODEL.
