I have only just brought the unit home, got it setup and ran it 20 min. to change the oil for the first time (just what I always do). It started right up on gas, once I realized to connect the negative cable to the battery, and ran beautifully. I was quit impressed how quiet it runs being an 18000/14500 Kw unit. I connected several larger 120v loads like freezer, chop saw, and skill saw with no issues. I tested the low idle mode a couple times and was impressed with that as well. It works like my Honda 3000 camping generator. It is made and assembled well, I was unable to identify any defects in manufacturing.
The only changes I would suggest is a pull cord start, it needs a way to start it if the battery fails.
Also, the oil dipstick is very "wonky". Hard to push the dipstick untill the built on plug is fully seated in the hole because the metal dipstick is too weak and goes in at an awkward angle, easy fix.
So far very pleased with what arrived in the box.
