I have used this generator twice and it performed flawlessly! It runs everything in my house not all at the same time but I can switch between breakers and run whatever I want. I also hooked it up to my propane tank so that I don’t have to worry about lugging 5 gallon gas cans around.

I live in florida and bought this after IAN. I have used it twice since during helene and Milton. It ran my whole house minus one or two rooms to i clude a 4 ton ac, two refrigerators, a deep freezer, microwave, 3 bedrooms and living room. It was flawless. Propane and gas switch over is easy. The best part is an oil change is so simple with the extended hose. The nrst home purchase i ever made.

Ready for Hurricane Season

Bought the 14500 TF a couple weeks ago. Going to have a power inlet installed so we can run the whole house. Hopefully we will only need to run it for normal maintenance and not a storm. Glad we have it just in case. This generator is well built and easy to prep.

I expect the best from Westinghouse

I took delivery today. I was hoping to have a clear path to hooking up to Natural Gas but my plumber says that he can't provide a NG hookup until he gets more info from gas company because there is no included spec for the potential BTU output included with the documentation. No problem using other fuels.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

No dipstick was provided. I only got 2 oil plugs. Cannot check the oil level. Disappointed in quality control for this price.

Full featured whole house back-up Generator
on April 10, 2025

Not really having a budget for a whole house back-up generator but knowing what was the most important thing during a power outage was the primary focus of this generator purchase. You never really know exactly what circumstance your going to find yourself in when your looking to power your house because of an outage. Was your gas line taken out by a careless excavator, was there a natural disaster, or a terrorist attack? You better hope you have a tri-fuel generator if you are looking to have all your options open to you when it really counts, that's why i chose the WGen 14500TFc. With the THD <5, total steel construction, heavy duty V-twin (even has an oil cooler and oil filter), low idle control, battery maintainer, electric start, and remote start you really cant go wrong. This generator is built very well with every feature you could want. Check out the other big name manufactures and I'm pretty sure you will come to the same conclusion that i did. I didn't want the problems that come along with a permanent generator that will only run on 2 fuel types or the eventual hassle that comes with the automatic transfer switch and separate load center of a Generac style stand-by generator. If you want the best setup for redundancy, buy this Tri-Fuel Westinghouse generator, a Eaton T050N (for the 50 amp receptacle), a interlock for your load center, and a LUNTHINK outdoor generator enclosure. Don't forget to FLOAT the neutral!
