We live in a Napa, CA where fires have become ever more an issue. We just moved to a community that is closer to the hills and thus closer to the fires so PG&E PSPS are very common. Within a week of receiving this generator, we had our first fire and had to turn it on. It easily powers our fridge and hot water heater.

Finally had to break down and buy a generator after having several multi-day power outages in the last few years. This was easy to setup and started right up on first try. Has enough power for all of the necessities during an outage. Hope we never have to use it, but feel safer having one of our own now.

Hurricane season is well underway and with this WGEN6000 I know that my the essential appliances will be able to still operate after the storm passes and we lose power. We did not have a portable generator in 2017 when Irma rolled through and we were without power for a week, which is no fun in Central Florida during the summer.
