Great Generator

Purchased to have as a backup when power goes out. We have lost food in refrigerator when loosing power several times. And the hassle of trying to buy ice and put food in coolers etc. I am prepared for the next power outage and this generator will power all the household items I need. Easy to put together and started right up. Love the electric starter. Highly recommend.

Lots of wattage for my needs

When I bought this it started right up straight from the box. I love all the extra features on it, for example the meter and especially the electric start. I have used it once and I look forward to using it again. It is nice to have that added security in the event of a power failure.

Great generator!

We bought this after an ice storm. We live in Louisiana, and since we are prone to hurricanes knocking the power out, a generator is a must. This was a great value and so far so good.

Worse generator I ever purchased

I wish i could give it zero stars. Will never buy another Westinghouse product again. Generator may have 30 minutes of run if that much. Had a fuel leak between the carburetor and the engine whey it was critically needed during the aftermath of a hurricane. Westinghouse service providers basically said it was our problem and we just needed to deal with it. Now the machine will not even start. Worse purchase I ever made in my life!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy Setup and Operation

We live in east Texas and weather can get pretty radical here at times. We just had the big 2021 February freeze and rolling power outages were horrible. Decided after that disaster to buy this and now preparing a way to connect to my main panel if needed. Install and first startup was really smooth. Wheel kit and handle make moving this around my shop a breeze. Have had it a couple months now and used it a in the shop a couple times and start it once a week for about 15 minutes to keep the gas fresh, the engine lubricated and the battery charged. So far, really happy with this purchase and operation.
