Very easy to start and run

Bought this after our old generator died during a power outage. Received this one and had another power outage that same night. This generator worked great.

Great bang for your buck!

Living in East Central Florida about 20 mi from the coast I finally decided to buy a generator for when we lose power due to hurricanes which seem to be more frequent than they used to be. after doing research for 3 plus days I decided to go with the Westinghouse brand due to the good fuel consumption rate, 3 year warranty and the amount of features that are loaded into it. After assembling it filling it with oil and putting some gas in it it fired right up using the electric start. I've yet to use it to power my home which is what it was intended for (or at least most of it) So unfortunately I can't comment on that yet but I feel pretty confident that it will not let me down.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Took it out of the box, put wheels on and oiled and gas it. It started INSTANTLY without hesitation. Impressive!

A beast of a generator

Just received this generator so I don't have to borrow one when the power goes out. Machine is well built, easy to assemble, and I like the battery-assisted start.

Great Generator!

We had a storm roll through in August and lost power. With a full additional Freezer and our refrigerator stocked from a grocery store run two days prior it was just what we needed. We were without power for 2 days and we were able to run the Freezer, Fridge, and charging our devices.

No better motivator to get a generator than losing your power from a Hurricane. Hurricane Isaias knocked our power out for over a day and a hot night of attempted sleep strengthened the desire for a generator. After much research, the WGen6000 fits in a nice slot where it was the right price for the right amount of power. I had an electrician install an outside receptacle into the house panel and I was surprised to find it powered the whole house, including the A/C turning on (2.5 ton). I plan to add an Easystart to make that effort a bit easier though. This is a good workhorse for the price.
