I bought this last Fall, but just assembled it and tried it out. If instructions had said to open the fuel valve first, it would have been a perfect start.

We bought this generator needing a new one. And it didn't upset. We live in Michigan with cold winters and can not go with out heat in the chance that we lose power. This hasn't let us down. I would recommend it to anyone. Excellent purchase!!

I bought the Westinghouse 7500/600w generator as a gift to my daughter so she would quit borrowing mine. I put the wheels on, filled it with gas, and added the included 10w-30 oil. It has electric start and it fired up first try. I ran it for 15-20 minutes and everything worked well. I have a big-name brand generator that has less wattage, fewer features, and cost considerably more. The Westinghouse WGen 6000 is a great value.
