We no longer fear power outages !

This generator works perfectly with our Reliance Controls Transfer Switch. Our last 3 day power outage motivated me to buy this 240V generator. My last one was only 120V and it was a pain running a web of extension cords inside our house. The well pump is 240V so we had to do without water before when we lost electricity. This Westinghouse generator easily powers the well pump so we have running water during outages.
This generator passed our test run with flying colors after shutting off the main breakers in our house. We really no longer fear power outages like we used to. Id say we average at least 2 outages per year. Highly recommend !

So far, so good

The price was decent. The setup was easy. The instructions are clear. The packaging was nice and arrived undamaged. This is a good looking and well-assembled unit. It was lighter than I was expecting. It was not as noisy as other similar generators I have been around in the past. I’ve only run it for a few minutes to make sure everything is in good working order but; so far, so food!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nicely built generator

I just bought this and assembled and fired up for first time. Did several voltage tests under load and it held very well. Looking forward to the power going out so I can use this. Come on storms!

Runs Like a Dream

I live in Northern California. Now in third day without power. Was using a pull start generator which was ok. At age 80 figured I need electric start. Lots of research. Picked this w6000 because of great reviews and available from Home Depot which I trust. Came 5 days early on the first day of the outage. In less than 1/2 hour I put it together and hooked up to the house. Push the button- runs great! Quieter than my old one and uses less gas. Been running off and on for 3 days, no hiccups. Delivered to the back of garage exactly where I wanted. Couldn’t be more satisfied.

Good quality generator

Bought this to replace an older lower output generator. This generator runs everything that I have plugged into it! A lot quieter and runs super smooth with or without a load. Not only is it great around the house but I plan on using it while Boondocking in our 5th wheel next year.

Easy setup

Picked up the Generator today. Upon opening the packaging, I inspected the equipment, assembled it, put on the included wheels, put gas and oil in as per instructions. I hooked up the battery and started the Generator which started immediately. Put a light load on the circuits and operated the Generator for half an hour, increased the load to almost max, and ran Generator for another half hour. Everything worked just fine. Very satisfied with the WGen6000 so far.
