All the features I was looking for

I have been researching portable house backup generators for a while and this generator has all of the features that I was looking for at a reasonable price. So far I am very pleased.

My First Generator - WGen 5500/6850

This was my first generator.
Manual was very easy to follow with lots of pictures.
Came out of box, assembled in 20 min and started on first choke/pull.
Enough power to supply key appliances in my 3000+ sq ft home during 6 hours of power failure with less than 1/3 of fuel in the tank.

Easy to use

Like the electric start, in my seventies with the extended handlebar found it not difficult to move around on a flat hard surface (with half a tank of gas). Plan to use the generator mostly for emergency power.

we needed a generator for our home . I have been a industrial electrician for 46 years . and have used Westinghouse products over a lot of other competitors and the generator is what I thought it would be, fit and finish superb quality is excellent. overall you get your monies worth .
