Started the first time.

Found a bolt loose in the packaging when I unboxed the generator. Noticed a threaded opening on the engine, and wasn't sure if it came from there,so I called the customer service number and spoke with Jeremy. He was able to identify the bolt as a engine cover bolt which was probably inadvertently dropped in the box, and confirmed that on this model, the threaded opening isn't used. I added oil, a little gas, an it started right up.

Great features, easy setup

I bought this generator after several power outages this year, seems to be an increasing problem as our infrastructure ages. Love the option to connect to the house utility and the ample power for multiple devices.

Recent purchase. Have not used yet but appears to be well built and laid out. It started up and ran smoothly. I must say that I thought it would make less noise than the 20 year old generator it replaced, but that is not the case. As long as it functions well, I think I will be satisfied overall as noise would be acceptable during a power failure.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I just received the W Gen 6000. Shipping was quick free and generator arrived without any issue. I have not had occasion to use it yet but am happy to have it before the next hurrican season

The unit I bought was a WGen5500. It did not show as a "Waranty Item" so I chose the W6000. so I chose the closest unit

Easy to set up; just follow the directions. As expected, it is heavy. Be careful when turning it on its side to install the wheels. Added oil and gas and started it with no problems. Tested 20A outlets with a lamp; worked fine. Connected the 30A outlet to the house circuit; no problems. Hopefully I am ready for power outages; we have already lost power from a 12 inch snow in VA in early Dec. We actually lose power any time of the year due to falling trees in storms. This generator will be tested. My old Craftsman generator was used at least 50 times over a 10 year period.

Bought this generator a few days ago after days of looking at reviews and specs on other generators.Ordered it thru Lowe's and picked it up at store. Didn't find any damage to box or to generator. Easy to assemble, good instructions. Started on 1st pull, ran fine. I let it run for about 30 min and connected a small circular saw to all the 120v plugs. Everything seems to work as advertised. Very satisfied for now.
