Best unit right out of the box

The generator is a good prowler unit . The unit starts when needed ,runs well and supplies all the power required in power loss. This generator is a one less worry during winter storms.

Easy to set up and use

This generator was purchased for us by our children as a present. We are older and live in the cold Northeast. My husband unpacked it, set it up with no problems. We needed one with electric start, it started immediately and ran perfectly. We received it on a Wednesday and we lost our power on Friday for 3 days. We were able to keep things running as if we had electricity. The power was out over the Christmas weekend and we were able to have dinner and entertain our family without a hitch. If not for having this generator we would of had to find and pay for a hotel.

Impressive so far

I am very impressed with the build quality, instruction manual, assembly diagrams, and part number lists of this Westinghouse generator. It is clear a solid engineering was involved with this product. In particular with the generator, I am impressed with the features offered compared to my previous generator: fuel gauge, voltage meter, quiet operation. And, it started up smoothly and quickly after about 4 turns of the crankshaft.
