Purchased From Electric Generators Direct, Arrived in 3 days via SAIA freight (they were great) took 15 minutes to set up...attached two wheels with cotter pins, attached two front feet with four bolts, (you need a 10mm wrench) added oil (came with oil but I added full synthetic, 1.1 qt.) added ethanol free gas and it started right up holding choke to the left and within three seconds, moving choke to the right (off position). Oversized muffler so it wasn't terribly noisy. Checked out the wattage draw by connecting it to my house via transfer switch and cord and worked fine. Some generators look ugly, very commercial like...this one actually looks nice and very neat. The unit has an alternator that will charge the battery but you are supposed to run the generator every few months...I put it on a 2 amp battery charger for a few hours to make sure it was fully charged. Has a nice hour meter.

My primary use of this generator will be to back up power to my pellet stove. When the power went out in the past the exhaust blower would stop running, but the fire would continue until the pellets were gone, which created somewhat of a smoke issue. Now the blower has the power to continue until the stove shuts down.

This product is as advertised. Started right up and ran perfect. I tried it out by hooking it up to our house, as we had hard wired box from prior generator. It worked with no issues. Love the electric start!
