INITIAL Setup and Run

Just set my WGEN6000 up. No issues with easy to read instructions. Unit fired right up and ran power through my transfer switch without any problems. I like the voltage/hour meter function. Additionally I was surprised at the noise level. It was less than what I expected from a 6-7.5k unit

Just registered, excited to prep and have ready to go. Looks good coming out of packaging, moves nicely on wheels. sturdy frame, good documentation.

They even included engine oil, unique funnel that's a perfect fit.and a spark plug wrench! After setup, 1st. start was very quick and easy. Used right away for a power tool that required almost 20 amps, When plugged in, the generator was strong enough it didn't even bother the engine at all. Very strong. Recommend buying the cover as well to protect it while not in use.

I have only used this generator 2 times. Love the electric start. Ran well and did not use a lot of gas. Powered my refrigerator, freezer, hot water heater, several lights, wireless modem and several other small appliances..
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very quiet compare to my first, which was a 5500 watt different brand. Electric start is great and started right up first try. Like the handle position seems to be very balanced, not heavy to move at all.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Good, The Stupid

Well, the generator itself is great. Chinese engine but sounds quieter and runs better than most competitors. However, unlike ANY other generators with electric start and included battery, this model must be the only one that does NOT include the battery charger. The trickle charger is cheap to buy separately but this is simply stupid. If you don't know about this (i.e. batter won't charge enough even when the engine is running) then you'll be out of luck when you really need it (i.e. electric start).

This product is as advertised. Started right up and ran perfect. I tried it out by hooking it up to our house, as we had hard wired box from prior generator. It worked with no issues. Love the electric start!
