Just What We Were Looking For!

After running into multiple issues while camping we were are the hunt for a reliable generator for our 5th wheel. We purchased this generator as we have always heard good things about Westinghouse. We could not be happier. It ran both air conditioners on our 5th wheel without issues. The run time on a tank of gas is great. We are able to start it before we head to bed without the worry of it running out of gas in the middle of the night. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a reliable generator at an affordable price.

If you have patience when things don’t go smoothly

It took over half an hour to start on our first trip with it — the manual pull was extremely stiff and had to have another person hold opposite end so it wouldn’t run over me when I tried pulling it. But we got it going ( glad we brought the instruction handbook with us !! But it’s up and running — working great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I received this generator and found that all I had to do was to add the wheels (easy with a washer, a post and a cotter pin), bolt on the 'feet' and add the oil. Nice and easy.
Note: The User Manual could use some updated information.
#1 They direct you to unscrew the 'red' and the 'black' screw on the battery, then reinsert it with the actual 'red' or 'black' wire. However, they have improved the process by adding connectors to each wire, which makes it super easy.
#2 They don't tell you how much oil to add, but to check it frequently so that you don't overfill. It did take the entire quart.

Bought this after hurricane took our power out for 2 weeks. Started up first time, quite than it looks. USB port to charge phone. Very nice in appearance, works good so far. I like it.
