Easy to set up and start. Highly reccomend for home owners.

I use this to run basic appliances and sump pump when power goes out. Great thing about this is the maintenance schedule compared to other brands. Much easier to follow instructions are great and the generator is powerful enough to get the job done. The electric start is perfect in case my wife has to use when out of town.

My primary use of this generator will be to back up power to my pellet stove. When the power went out in the past the exhaust blower would stop running, but the fire would continue until the pellets were gone, which created somewhat of a smoke issue. Now the blower has the power to continue until the stove shuts down.

I bought this generator after hurricane Michael. was able to save all food in refrigerator and freezer.

MORE THAN ENOUGH FEATURES TO JUSTIFY A SLIGHTLY HIGHER PRICE

IT COULD BE 5 STARS BUT I'VE NOT RUN IT MORE THAN A COUPLE OF HOURS. THE GENERATOR PART OF MY 25 YEAR OLD UNIT DIED DURING FLORENCE. I STUDIED SEVERAL OTHER UNITS. UNLIKE UNITS WHICH WERE A FEW DOLLARS CHEAPER THIS UNIT HAS:CAST IRON SLEEVE, 3 YEAR WARRANTY (NOT 90 DAYS), A METER TO MONITOR HOURS RUN, VOLTAGE AND CYCLES PER MINUTE, AND MOST IMPORTANT TO ME A VOLTAGE REGULATOR WHICH IS NEEDED FOR ELECTRONICS SUCH AS THOSE USED IN MOST MODERN APPLIANCES. THE UNIT CRANKED INSTANTLY, RUNS SMOOTH AND IS LESS NOISY THAN MY NEIGHBOR'S UNIT WHICH HAS THE SAME HP ENGINE. THE LARGE WHEELS AND A GREAT HANDLE MAKE IT EASY FOR ME (AGE 74) TO WHEEL AROUND. LASTLY IT COMES WITH A VERY INFORMATIVE USER MANUAL.

Quiet, Powerful, Seems Well Built

This generator replaces a Harbor Freight generator of similar size but lower output (3200 vs. 3600). The HF generator worked fine the first few starts but it was noisy and the recoil assembly failed the 5th time I went to start it. This generator runs significantly quieter than the HF generator and I am confident that it will serve well in the years to come.

Started like a champ

Came with just a small dent on the external frame, nothing to complain about. The small funnel was a bit awkward for putting the oil in but can't complain about free stuff. Quick and easy to put together and started like a champ.
