Started the first time.

Found a bolt loose in the packaging when I unboxed the generator. Noticed a threaded opening on the engine, and wasn't sure if it came from there,so I called the customer service number and spoke with Jeremy. He was able to identify the bolt as a engine cover bolt which was probably inadvertently dropped in the box, and confirmed that on this model, the threaded opening isn't used. I added oil, a little gas, an it started right up.

The Generator came in great condition. I havent had a chance to install the wheel kit yet, but atleast it came with one, which is great. It is very straight forward on how to use with labeled parts.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have used it twice. It was easy to start & easy to maintain. It rans my water well pump with no problem at all.

WGen5500 first time using

The WGen5500 was easy to set up and get running. It took only a few minutes thanks to the very clear manual and other materials provided. When I was ready to test it, it started on the second pull and ran flawlessly for several minutes before I shut it down. Hopefully it will continue to perform well when it is needed. I downgraded this to 4 stars because it arrived with some cosmetic damage likely incurred during the shipping process (see attached photo).

Can't believe the power!

Hooked it up and ran the whole house! The motor didn't even die down when the water pump kicked on, it just grabbed another gear and powered on. Amazing power!
