Well, the generator itself is great. Chinese engine but sounds quieter and runs better than most competitors. However, unlike ANY other generators with electric start and included battery, this model must be the only one that does NOT include the battery charger. The trickle charger is cheap to buy separately but this is simply stupid. If you don't know about this (i.e. batter won't charge enough even when the engine is running) then you'll be out of luck when you really need it (i.e. electric start).

Easy setup; Large wheels and folding pull bar make this 174 lb generator far easier to move around than my older and lighter 5400 watt non-Westinghouse generator. The electric start cranked the unit immediately and it runs smoothly. Connected the generator to a power pass through via a L14-30 generator cord and everything is working as I had hoped. It isn't a quiet generator but it seems to be no louder than any other comparable unit that I've seen.

Plan to use product primarily for power outages during storm related outages in Florida.. Easy to set up, but took numerous tries to get started. Runs smooth and provides stable voltage output. A little louder than expected, but tolerable.

Purchased this generator for emergency use due to the hurricanes, etc. here in Florida. Haven't had a chance yet to use it in that situation, but I am confident that it will perform as expected. I looked at lots of other generators and in my opinion these give the most bang for the buck. Seems like a solid, well built unit that should last for a long time. Happy with the purchase so far.
