Seems to Work Quite Well

I bought this in Feb of 2021 and put the wheels on right away and then let it sit for 6 months before adding gas and starting it up. I didn't realize the battery was not connected to the starter for shipping purposes so I thought it was dead and used the manual starter. It started up right away (one pull) and it ran flawlessly. I have not yet used it in a real life power outage but I connected it up to my house and made sure the well pump worked and it did as well as any lights I happened to have on. One reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is the oil filler is in a very awkward location where it's not very easy access. The unit is also quite loud but this is the first portable generator I've owned so maybe that's to be expected.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bad out of the Box

After assembly and filling the fluids, I discovered the engine had seized up after the first attempt to start.

Haven't had it long enough to know about longevity but it sure vibrates a lot and it's kind of noisey. I could definitely see the thing shaking itself apart eventually.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy, fast start. Quickly connected 120/240 30A cable to house transfer switch. Powered all appliances, lights and plugs on demand. Relatively quiet when compared to other portable generators
