Awesome generator! Quick start.

Just got this generator and unboxed it and filled with fuel and oil and it started right up. Plan on connecting to a transfer panel I bought to power essential circuits.

Nice Generator!

Just recently purchased this generator so I have not been in a position to actually put it to use yet. However, this seems like a really well-built and sturdy generator. Previously owned a generator (different brand) that was only recoil start and would always be very difficult to start regardless of how much you ran it. I swore I would never own another generator that does not have electric start. This one does! Easily assembled it, just had to install the wheels and feet, add oil and gas and plug in battery which was already installed. Fired right up using the electric start! This generator was quieter than I thought it would be although no generator of this size would typically be considered "quiet." Certainly quieter than my previous generator! Looks good, too!

Electric start great feature

My electrician installed my transfer switch and recommended Westinghouse to me. I open the box put on the wheels ,added oil,which comes with generator, added a little fuel, flipped the choke on ,turned on fuel shut off and hit the start button and generator fired up in about 3 seconds!! I’m very pleased with its performance no more worrying about no more hot water, or losing everything in my refrigerator, I’ll recommend this generator to my friends!!

My generator just arrived and I put in the oil, added gas, checked to see that the battery was fully charged, pushed the start button and it started immediately! My last generator was 22 years old, so loud I had to wear ear plugs when working close by and, a few hours into our 5 days with out power, lost one leg of the 240V. This little beauty arrived and I was very happy to find that it's much quieter than the old one. The electric start is great! I've never had that before. I'm impressed that it arrived with everything included. Oil, battery, even tools to tighten bolts or pull the spark plug. Nice touch. I'll eventually get a permanent standby generator but I think this little guy is going to do the trick until then. The price point was excellent, too.
