Gets the job done!

I bought this generator about a month ago and I'm so happy I did! I got it just in time for a big storm week before Christmas and we lost power for 24h, this generator performed excellent!

I got this as a Christmas gift from my children. To put it together was real simple. Once together, started right up, no problems. I liked the electric start especially! My old one didn't have that feature. I think I will be very happy with this generator.

Perfect size and price

I bought this as a back up power for my house. With a new young family living in the north east I don't want to be without power with the storms we have had recently. It was rated to take care of everything on my check list of what I need powered and a little extra for the wants. Tested the remote start so my wife can start it up if I'm not home and now even if I'm out at work during a storm she has an easy button start and good to go.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good design and build quality, bad shipment

The build quality is good, with a solid frame, large and sturdy wheels, immediate start-up on our first use, and as expected operation of all electrical outlets (tested by my Father who is an electrician). While the box that it arrived in was fine, the frame where the main panel is mounted was bent and there were scratches on the side of the unit. I had to use a large c-clamp and to bend it roughly back into place, but the blue paint on the facade is flaked off. I expect it will work well, though it looks rather rough for being a brand new unit.
