Frequency is high and does not idle up

Initial fire up of generator, frequency is 62.9. I called support and they requested I put a load on it. With 2 heat elements at maybe 2.5amps, it dropped to 61.7 Hz. I was told this was all good and normal. Fast forward to today, with my first trial run after all electrical was finished to feed my home. I started with my garage which has a 240v pool pump and air compressor. The pool pump and all 120 devices ran just fine. When the air compressor came on, lights began flickering badly and the generator shut off. This was done again when I had someone able to turn the air compressor on while I was at the generator to observe the operations. I observed the frequency was dropping to 55-56 Hz and voltage was also dropping. This is happening due to the idle circuitry of the generator failing is my thought. I called support and was advised to contact my seller to return the unit for being defective. If I’m not able to return it, I can take it somewhere of pay to have someone come to my home. This is very poor support for a brand new product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Fuel Options!

Started right up - puts out electricity & so far no issue. Our power is rarely out but since we have a well & sump pump, we feel better having this. Love that we have a variety of fuel options.

I purchased this generator on sale and got a great deal. It should be able to power my entire house. I am glad it has tri-fuel capabilities and a battery powered starter. I am anxious to try it out.

It is a great machine, powerful; it can power up my whole house, including the air conditioning unit. I like the three fuel options. The remote control is a nice touch!

This generator utilizes three sources of fuel making it very versatile. The battery, propane hose and natural gas hose were all included. The remote start is an additional bonus.

Seems to be an excellent generator hope it doesn’t give me trouble like the last generator that was a different brand. Every thing seems well built and easy to start.
