Great Generator!

I bought this a few weeks back. We have a propane home system already. Now we can have the peace of mind to know that if the power is out for any length of time our groceries and lifestyle won’t be affected. Thank you!

Love The Tri-Fuel Option

Recieved the 9500TF and was very happy with the minimal assembly required. In a few minutes we had the unit ready to go. Love the fact it's tri-fuel. We have a natural gas line, portable tanks of propane and gas so we are ready for any eventuality.
It IS a weighty beast, so if you do take it off-grid camping, have a friend help you load and unload it from your truck. Love that it gas a fifty amp plug.

Westinghouse Tri-fuel generator

Fresh out the box. Looks nice. There 2 nuts that attacked to the mount on the left and right front side fell out the box, but no issue. Ill update this review or write another one when I get propane in and run it. Not planning on using gas until its a must to save the fuel lines. A tri-fuel generator is the way to go if your home runs with propane or natural gas because you can easily into your home supply.

Run Propane /Natural Gas if you can.

This I my second Westinghouse 9.5kW Generator. The 1st generator was the DF model/ dual fuel. The actual 1st one I bought I had to return as it did not work straight out of the box. Returned it to Loews the same day and brought home another on e same model. From day one it took at least 2 attempts to start, running gasoline. No big deal. Stored in inside garage, maintained it, oil changes, fresh fuel etc. Once it started it always ran well powering my home during outages for as long as needed. By the 4th year of ownership, it would not start without using started fluid. I assume it was an issue with the carburetor / injector since starting was always an issue from the beginning. I chocked it up to being a good inexpensive generator, and took the loss.
This 2nd generator I plan to use propane only and see how well it does. So far it fires right up and runs perfectly. Fingers crossed. If I get 5 / 6yrs out of it I will be happy.
