Got this to use for more comfort during hurricane power outages. Having the ability to switch between gas and propane was important to me, it allows me to run for more days if places are closed up after a storm. Have the 50amp outlet so I can run off the fuse box, so much easier. The manual was comprehensive and easy to understand. I now have peace of mind that when hurricane season arrives, I’ll be prepared.

Not loud at all I had a Westinghouse before. If you do the preventative maintenance, it’ll run many years. Just don’t loan it out.

I just bought this to replace my Firman generator. I much prefer the control layout, especially the natural gas inlet. My gas hose is 3/4" so I have to upsize the inlet quick connect. The gas inlet port on the Westinhouse is right out in the open and very easy to swap out. The gas port on the Firman was PITN to change out. The 9500 Westinghouse is about the same size and weight as my old Firman 7500.
